7-12 Staff

Jane Bellows attended Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana where she earned her degree in Home economics and Art Education K-12.  She is currently teaching K-12 art at Liberty and is Liberty's Gifted/Talented Coordinator.  She and her husband, Shawn enjoy spending time with their daughter, Cedar, who is attending Liberty.

 

Saralynn Brown graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2000 with a Bachelor's Degree from the College of Agriculture in Ag Education.  She has been teaching at Liberty since then. 

Saralynn enjoys reading, traveling, cooking and quilting.  She also loves teaching because it allows her the opportunity to expose the outside world to her students. 

 

Carissa Smith attended Otero Junior College and UNC in Greeley where she attained her degree in Secondary Social Sciences.  She is married to Greg Smith and has two children, Peyton, and Spencer.

 

Amy Melby graduated from Trego Community High School in WaKeeney, Kansas in 1998.  She then went on to obtain degrees in Biology and Chemistry from Fort Hays State University.  Amy and her husband Josh live in Yuma.

 

Curtis Becker has been teaching Language Arts at Liberty since 2007.  He also is the advisor for the yearbook and newspaper and teaches class for Morgan community College.  Mr. Becker grew up in Goodland, KS and currently resides in Yuma.  In 1997, he earned a BA in English and Creative Writing from Emporia State  University in Emporia, Kansas.  When he's not with his Liberty kids, Mr. Becker enjoys spending time with and spoiling his nieces and nephews. 

 

Lacey Rehor graduated from Liberty in 2003 and went on to attend the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, studying Visual Arts, Sports, and Exercise Science/Coaching.  She married Chase Rehor in 2007 and they moved back home to start a family.

 

Jamie Robinson gradated from Platte Valley High School in Kersey, Colorado in 1995.  She began her college education at Chadron State College in Chadron, Nebraska.  After a career ending volleyball injury she came back home to ride horses and finish college at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colorado.  She met her husband Jeremy, at Chadron and was married in 1999.  They have three beautiful children Cody, Clay and Caddis.

Mary Jacobsen is the business instructor at Liberty and teaches Computer Apps., Bus. Tech., Information Processing, Accounting I and II, College Accounting, 7/8 Business, Desktop Publishing, and Business Concepts as well as serving as the FBLA Advisor
