From The Desk Of The Superintendent

My name is Michael Seifert and I am the new superintendent of Liberty.  I was born in Kansas to fourth generation wheat farmers so living on the eastern plains of Colorado is like home to me.  I will be moving to Joes with my wife and twin sons who will be sophomores.  I have fifteen years of experience as a teacher and administrator in public education.  For the past five years I was an administrator in Barrow, Alaska.  Prior to my stay in Alaska I taught second grade, ESL at the middle school level, bilingual education at the high school level as well as two years at the university level while taking a masters degree in linguistics.  I am currently working towards a Doctorate in Educational Leadership.  I look forward to working collaboratively with students, teachers, parents, coaches and community members to make our already great school even better.  If you have any concerns regarding our school feel free to call me or just stop by.
