Bus Drivers       

                  LaRay Gates is Liberty's Transportation Director, substitute bus driver, cook, and the Library aid.                   

              Sharon Maag began driving a school bus for Liberty in August of 1976.  She, also, has been a substitute mail route carrier for the Joes Post Office since March 2000.  Sharon's husband, Roger, and their two sons graduated from Liberty School.  Sharon is an active member of the Wray Church of Christ where she teaches Sunday School and Vacation Bible School.  Sharon loves being a bus driver and plans to continue this job for a few years.     

              Lee Dotson drives a bus for Liberty School. Lee is also the Pastor at the Kirk Baptist Church.   

Food Service

              Brenda Baar attended 1st through 12th grade at Liberty School. She is the Food Service Director at Liberty. Her hobbies include raising registered dogs and gardening.

Custodian 

           Wayne Herrick is our head custodian. He and his wife Christie have 2 children, Jenni  and John. His hobbies include rock hunting and jewelry making.

                 Marla Ficken is Liberty's assistant custodian. 

                 

Office Staff

       Brenda Kechter  began in 2004 as Executive Secretary. She attended MCC and received her degree in 1995.   Hobbies include being a fun grandma, quilting, guitar/piano playing and singing.  Brenda  & Bob (her high school sweet heart) have three children, who are their pride & joy:  Candice and husband Chris and baby Bode, Toby and wife Brianne, grandchildren Jaylyn and Gabriel.  Kay Dee & husband Ty'Ray baby Tyce. 

Bob & Brenda both grew up in the Joes & Kirk Community and attended school  at Liberty.   

     Carole Herman came to Liberty, in December 2003, as the district business manager. She and her husband Melvin have 4 children, all graduating from Arickaree High School and 8 grandchildren.  Her husband, Melvin farms southwest of Cope, raising wheat and millet. Carole's passion is the Lord's work. She is a member of the Trinity New Life Center church in Flagler. In the spring, she loves teaching a Bible School class.
