Dear Parents and students of Liberty SD J-4.

The Center of Disease Control is anticipating a pandemic of the H1N1 flu this year.

We are very aware and are taking precautions to address these issues if and when they arrive. We are asking

parents to help us make sure their children use good hygiene. Please encourage frequent hand washing and

and sneezing or coughing into a tissue, not hands.

Parents please look for flu like symptoms accompanied by a sore throat and fever.  If you see these please

keep your child home for at least 24 hours or until fever subsides.

We are encouraging our employees to use the same discretion if they are experiencing flu like symptoms. With all

of your help and communication we are confident we can keep our children safe and healthy. I firmly believe we can

protect our children if we practice quality hygiene habits. Please call with any questions.

Sincerely,

Dave Eastin
